Mango, Ginger and Turmeric Smoothie Bowl

The king of fruits is best enjoyed in more ways than lassi and shakes that we are often accustomed to have at majority of Indian households. Instead, I thought of making a fun smoothie bowl using Mango this morning, and the result was extremely delicious and healthy, both at once. I added Ginger and Turmeric to make this extremely soothing for the gut and a pinch of Cinnamon powder for a lovely flavour. Amidst the global pandemic and nationwide lockdown, I suggest you to go easy on the toppings and use only easily accessible items in the kitchen. Stay home and stay safe!

INGREDIENTS FOR SMOOTHIE 2 1/2 cups Mango chunks, frozen 1 tsp Ginger, freshly grated 1 1/2 cups cold Milk (Almond/toned or full cream basis availability) 1 1/2 tsp Honey/Maple syrup 1 1/2 Banana, chopped and frozen 1 tsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Cinnamon powder FOR TOPPINGS Pomegranate Chocolate chips Chopped Mango Muskmelon seeds Sabja Seeds or Chia Seeds Chopped Banana Chopped Walnuts PROCESS - 1. Add all the smoothie ingredients in a food processor.

2. Blend until smooth and a mildly thick consistency. Adjust the honey quantity basis the sweetness of the Mangoes. 3. Transfer it into a wide mouthed smoothie bowl and garnish with the toppings. 4. Serve fresh and chilled.
