Cooking time

  • 2 cups fresh Strawberries, chopped

  • 1 cup milk + 2 tbsp milk

  • 1.5 tbsp custard powder

  • 2 packets digestive biscuits

  • Whipping Cream

  • 4-5 Strawberries

  • Wash the strawberries and chop them in small pieces.
  • Keep these chopped strawberries in little water, adding a pinch of sugar to ensure they soften up.
  • Heat 1 cup milk in a pan on medium flame. Add 2 tbsp sugar in it and keep giving this a gentle mix to ensure no lumps are formed.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together 2 tbsp milk with 1 and a half tbsp custard powder and dilute it well.
  • Add this in the pan when the milk starts to boil. Keep mixing this until the custard thickens and turn off the flame later.
  • Now in a big bowl, beat the chilled whipped cream until it forms stiff peaks.
  • Next, grind the digestive biscuits in a blender and keep them aside for use later. You can also crush them finely using a rolling pin.
  • Take a few tall glasses and make a layer of jelly at the base as per the cooking instructions. Refrigerate it for few hours until it sets.
  • Add a layer of custard over this with a piping bag and set it with a spoon.
  • Now sprinkle the crushed biscuits over this and set it with a spoon, too.
  • Top this with chopped strawberries prepared at the start of the process.
  • Add a layer of whipped cream using a piping bag and garnish this with a strawberry dunked in honey.
  • Serve chilled.
