Temperatures are soaring quickly and so is the dire need to replenish your taste buds with iced treats. Amidst the lockdown, we’ve all been struggling with access to a lot of things we were fond of eating. One such thing was definitely ice cream as a staple dessert after every meal in summers. I hope this easy and fuss free sorbet (made without an ice cream maker) brings a whole lot of nostalgia and smile to your face!
Easy Sugar Free Watermelon Sorbet
Recipe by Gunjan SawhneyCourse: DessertDifficulty: Easy
1 tbsp Honey (You can add more/less based on the sweetness of the Watermelon)
1 tsp Lime juice
3 1/2 cups Watermelon, cubed and seedless
Place the Watermelon chunks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper with equal spacing and let them freeze overnight. Ensure that the chunks are fully frozen so that they don’t turn into a slushie.
Now put the frozen chunks in a food processor along with lime juice, honey. You may need to add very little warm water to make sure the blending process is easy.
Put a freezer safe container in the freezer for an hour, while you blend all the ingredients well in a food processor.
Transfer the sorbet into the frozen container and let it freeze for 4-5 hours or until its firm.
