Sorbet makes for a great dessert in summers. And with the temperature gradually shooting up, there’s no better time to enjoy this ice cool delight. You can easily make this using minimal ingredients at home, especially during this testing times of countrywide lockdown.
Homemade Muskmelon Sorbet

1 cup Maple Syrup or Honey
1/4 cup Lemon juice
2 1/2 cup Muskmelon, chilled
Pinch of salt
Add the salt, maple syrup and chilled muskmelon pieces in a blender. Blend them well until the texture is runny.
Next, stir in the lemon juice and mix it well. Taste the sorbet base once and add more lemon juice if it tastes too sweet.
Pour them into a freezing tray and let them freeze for approximately 2 hours.
However, after regular intervals of 30 minutes, remove the sorbet from the freeze & smash it with a fork. Later, level out the mixture and put it in the freezer again.
Once the sorbet base if firm and frozen, transfer them to serving bowls and garnish with mint leaves.
